Exit 45 by Chiasmus partners

Architectonic studio Chiasmus partners, based both in New York and Soul, created a nearly sculptural annex to an existing building. The building is located in Danwon-gu, Ansan, South Korea and is easily identified by its two massive towers. And right between these two towers, the Chiasmus Partners with an artistic cooperation of Sang Cho created a new object – Exit 45. It resembles a tree-house, a living mass growing out of the stereotypic orthogonal environment.

Striking out with its eye-catching bright red color, it is obvious that the authors wanted to step out, break the mold and attract attention. The outer facade intentionally filters out the natural light and the bustle of the exterior and creates a calm and harmonic retreat-like interior.
