Spanish architects Cor & Asociados completed a pearlescent concert hall in the village Algueña, near Alicante, Spain. Multi-purpose auditorium with a capacity for 230 people is clad in shimmering porcelain facing and connected to a former civil guard headquarters, which now serves as a music centre. The two-storey U-shaped historical building contains rehearsal rooms for musicians. The annex encloses central atrium and thus creates an open air concert venue. The two buildings are connected by glass boxes with a central staircase.
