Restructuring apartment in the center of Treviso by Luca De Bona

Into a building of the 50s in the center of Treviso, a city in the heart of Veneto, an apartment of 70 square meters is transformed into a bright and spacious residence for a young couple, their child and their dog.

In order to adapt the apartment to the contemporary living needs, the apartment has undergone a total renovation: the cupboards kitchen and dining room have become an open space with kitchenette communicating directly with the input.
Previously oversized atrium was made a distribution corridor to the sleeping area. With the exception of the outer walls and ceilings painted a pale shade of gray, all the internal walls were covered with a white lacquered wood paneling. New vertical surfaces in physical and stylistic continuity with the existing walls on which are hidden doors and doors, amplify the perception of space by transforming the rooms, the bathroom, the shelves and cabinets in magic boxes that leave you free and minimal room in the living area .

The living room has a table with structure in white lacquered iron and concrete floor designed specifically for this house which are matched Dangla chairs, designed by Luca De Bona for LAGO.

In the master bedroom, a lacquered wooden wall-to-ceiling serves as head of the bed and hides inside a walk-in closet used by the whole family.
